Secure Document Destruction Services

Certified. Chain-of-custody controlled. Eco-compliant.

The final control in responsible records governance

When records reach an authorised end of retention, destruction should be planned, documented and reconciled. SYSB provides offsite destruction from collection through to completion certification, with recycling of shredded paper through licensed channels.

How It Works

Five documented stages

Records Collection

The client provides an authorised batch listing; collection is scheduled and logged.

Preparation

Non-shreddable covers, binders and other materials are separated under controlled handling.

Secure Destruction

Records are processed through industrial shredders. The draft specification states up to 1,000 kg per hour and completion within 24–48 hours; confirm before publishing.

Witnessing

Clients may request an in-person witness arrangement or approved CCTV evidence, subject to project terms.

Certificate of Destruction

A completion certificate is issued against the authorised batch reference.

Security Measures

  • Facility CCTV monitoring stated as 24/7 in the source draft
  • Cross-cut shredded output
  • Signed batch listings from collection to certification
  • Recycling through licensed paper mills
  • Exception reporting where a listed batch cannot be reconciled

Dispose of records through a controlled process

Confirm the authorised batch, collection route, witness requirement and certificate format.
